PROJECT PROFILES
Work in the rural areas revealed that with little guidance communities ca be led to long-term self-sufficiency. This has been crystalized in the Dublin Statement of the United Nations Conference in Rio de Janeiro (June 1992) on the global level. On the grassroot level the rural activities produced a Federation of Water Associations to strengthen the individually small Water Associations. WRC even became the trusted link in several instances of renewable energy: solar voltaic pumps and homelighting systems.
The following is a listing of studies and projects performed by the Water Resources Center of the University of San Carlos mostly during the last decade. Reports on many of these studies and projects can be made available upon request. For some studies, the WRC performed the role of host.
